The Soundbites strongly believe in getting involved in the community and giving back to those less fortunate, so Chef Stark has started a 501(c)3 called The Mohawk Militia which provides clean food and jobs for U.S. Veterans. The Soundbites host quarterly charity dinner shows called “The Taste of Sound” to raise money for the cause while still playing other show variations throughout the year.
The saying “often imitated, never duplicated” sums up “The SoundBites” experience perfect for corporate events, private parties, & restaurant dinner service. For more details, questions, and bookings, contact us by clicking link here.

MEET THE BAND!!
Medrick Greely (DRUMS/PERCUSSION): “I was born in Dallas TX. I knew at the age of 10 that I wanted to be a drummer after attending a new church in Queens, NY with my mother. Growing up in the times where Hip Hop music was in it’s infancy, the “sampling” helped me realize that all genres where important. Not being able to afford formal training, I was determined to get the “feel” of a song down, no matter the project. Amusé is yet another outlet of my expression.” Be sure to check out his project “The DJ and the Drummer Collective”.
Celebrity Chef Patrick Stark (GUITAR): You have probably seen him Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen (twice), ABC’s The Taste Season 2, or Food Network’s Rewrapped, Mystery Diners as well as other productions. Patrick Stark is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America (C.I.A.). He started in the corporate world, opening restaurants and then opened his own company Stark Raving Inc specializing in consulting work, design, and catering for celebrities.
Chef has played in Strangleweed, Hollow, JGMJ, ZOOHouse, Backseat Continental, and is currently playing in his charity pop-up music project Amusé. “My most memorable moment in music was performing in Strangleweed and opening for Styxx in front of 26k people. I remember struggling to get my signal correct during sound check and freaking out! I trace my guitar cable all the way back to my amp and there is “Dime” rolling all the knobs on my 5150 amp head laughing hysterically while nuzzling a bottle of Crown. He was one of my idols growing up and still to this day! Check out Chef ripping a little Van Halen!! https://youtu.be/kZ45SSztRCo
KJ Gray (BASS): Freelance professional bassist, actor, and comedian. Kj is an active member in several projects, one of his favorites is Friday’s Foolery (www.fridaysfoolery.com).
Friday’s Foolery was formed in the summer 2011 during a church rehearsal while playing around with a few Disney tunes and posting them on YouTube. From there, they formed their style with the motto “Creativity through Diversity”. His favorite quote, “I’m the life of my own party. You’re welcome”.
Leslie Austin (Ring Leader/Lead VOX): Miss Austin grew up singing, dancing, and entertaining from a young age. Beginning small in talent shows, churches, and weddings, to later performing for crowds as big as 15,000, her passion and God-given talent have always been ignited by music. From singing with a gospel choir for 10 years to leading dance flash mobs that have made national news, Leslie’s diverse background has helped shape her into a uniquely versatile performer with a lot of soul. Having performed with many of Dallas’ top bands and musicians, Leslie has opened for artists such as R. Kelly, Neil McCoy, and Jerry Jeff Walker. She has also recorded on several albums over the years including an upcoming compilation by Hip Hop artist Prynce P, also featuring Paul Wall. With a recent release of her debut single ‘Crazy Love’ on iTunes (go buy it!), Leslie looks forward to releasing an EP album, writing more songs, learning more guitar, and sharing her love & passion through music with the world. Another artist to watch!!
